Domestic Assistance: Practical Help at Home for Someone You Love

As you age, tasks like vacuuming, washing, changing bed linen or tidying the kitchen can start to feel tiring, frustrating or simply too much to manage alone. For family, it can be very hard to watch someone you love struggling with basic household tasks.

At All Care Living, our domestic assistance services provide practical help around the home for older Australians on the Gold Coast. We support your loved one with everyday household tasks so their home remains clean, tidy and comfortable to live in.

Whether our clients need a little help each week or more regular forms of in-home support, our team works around their routine, preferences and the way they like things done. We understand it is their home first, so we always provide domestic assistance in a respectful, patient and careful way with our Gold Coast aged care services.

FAQs

Can I choose the same person to come every week?

Where possible, yes. We understand that familiarity matters when someone is coming into your loved one’s home. We aim to provide continuity of support for regular domestic assistance visits whenever we can.

In most cases, our team uses the equipment and cleaning products already available in the home. This helps us work with the products your loved one knows and prefers. We can discuss any specific requirements during the first consultation.
Many clients access support through government-funded Support at Home Packages (Levels 1–8). Private funding is also an option. If you are not sure what your loved one may be eligible for, we can explain the general process and help point you in the right direction through My Aged Care.
